Workshop with Brahim Birafane in Helsinki
17. - 18.5.2008

Brahim Birafane, of Moroccan origin, teaches Oriental dance in Lyon, France. He has studied both Middle Eastern and North African dances, and developes his artistic expression on the basis of the deep conscience of movement and solid body control that mastering these two different techniques has brought to him. In his teaching, he stresses among other, expression and smooth moving from one step or combination to another.

Brahim is the director of two dance companies: “Les Almées” since 1994 and “Baladi” since 2006.
