Workshop
with Brahim Birafane in Helsinki

Brahim
Birafane, of Moroccan origin, teaches Oriental dance in Lyon,
France. He has studied both Middle Eastern and North African dances,
and developes his artistic expression on the basis of the deep
conscience of movement and solid body control that mastering these
two different techniques has brought to him. In his teaching, he
stresses among other, expression and smooth moving from one step or
combination to another.
Brahim
is the director of two dance companies: “Les Almées” since 1994
and “Baladi” since 2006.
